Founded in 1989, Lapin Liha Oy is Finland’s largest reindeer meat processor and the only reindeer meat processor in the world, where slaughter, production and processing all occur in the same production facility. Lapin Liha is a modern and developing producer of quality meat, processed meat and frozen meat products.
More than 70 persons are employed at out production facility located in Rovaniemi. In connection with our production facility and particularly of interest to tourists is our sales shop, in which it is possible to become acquainted with our entire range of products.

Environmentally friendly production
The pure, clean nature of Lapland is an important part of Lapin Liha Oy’s business. In all our business activities we put as little stress as possible on nature. Our production facility is equipped with modern technology designed for this purpose. Our cooling systems, for example, take advantage of the cool outdoor air of Lapland using air recovery systems. For heating we make use of heat recovery systems. Our goal is to do our part to keep nature in Lapland clean for future generations.
